BASTION OFFICE CENTER in Košice

The screed-flush trunking system OKA-W from OBO Bettermann can be found throughout the entire five-storey office building in Košice.

In addition to numerous offices in the five floors of the building, there are also many shops and restaurants on the ground floor.

This system was selected because a special floor construction with floating screed and a large amount of cabling, in particular data cables, were laid. The low floor construction of 100 mm was compensated with a trunking width of 600 mm. Device installation was implemented to supply workstations within the trunking unit, amongst other things.

OBO is known for its ability to adapt to the specific wishes of its customers. The building structure made it necessary to produce special solutions for the T branches, in order to guarantee the inclined connection of the trunking sections.

Thanks to the Slovakian subsidiary of the OBO Bettermann Group, these particular challenges were overcome. The cable installation was carried out on schedule over the course of 2019.
