Grip M UNI: The flexible collection clamp for any mounting situation

With the new Grip M UNI, OBO Bettermann is bringing even more flexibility to construction sites. The new collection clamp combines two fastening types in one product: classic screw fitting and quick direct fastening with a setting tool. Installers can choose a fastening type flexibly, depending on the substrate and mounting situation.

The pre-mounted Grip M UNI universal adapter enables direct fastening. It is compatible with standard setting tools from different manufacturers, such as BX4-ME, Spit 27E, CS-3, Fischer DXC85 and Bosch GNB 18V-40. The universal adapter securely holds the collection clamp on the tool lug, enabling mounting with one hand. This saves time during installation, while minimising dust and installation work on the construction site.

Classic screw fastening also remains possible at all times thanks to a separate 6.5 mm fastening hole on the collection clamp. The Grip M UNI is ideal for a wide range of electrical installation applications.

In addition, the collection clamp meets high requirements for safe cable routing in the event of fire, as both cable routing with the collection clamp for direct fastening and screw fitting are permitted as cable-specific routing systems for the maintenance of electrical function E30 to E90 in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 12. For applications requiring the maintenance of electrical function, the nails require proof of application with details on fire resistance in concrete.
