Direct fastening or classic mounting: The choice is yours
Grip M UNI offers maximum flexibility for fastening pipes and cables. The fastening type used is up to you. Individual, depending on the installation situation. With its patented universal adapter, collection clamp Grip M UNI enables installation with one hand for direct fastening using a setting tool or classic screw fitting via a separate 6.5 mm fastening hole.
Direct fastening
Direct fastening with a setting tool not only saves time and energy, it also prevents excessive dust production. Fastening is clean, quick, uncomplicated and done with just one hand. The universal adapter without magnetic tool lugs enables direct fastening. The adapter is compatible with all standard setting tools, such as:

- Würth DIGA CS-3
- Bosch GNB 18V-40
- Fischer FXC85
The Grip M UNI can be used with screw, nail and bolt ties.
Safe fastening – even in the event of fire
The Grip M UNI meets high requirements for safe cable routing and is also suitable for applications requiring the maintenance of electrical function. Both cable routing with the UNI collection clamp for direct fastening using a setting tool and with classic screw fitting are permitted as cable-specific routing systems for the maintenance of electrical function classes E30, E60 and E90 in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 12.
For applications requiring the maintenance of electrical function, the nails require proof of application with details on fire resistance in concrete.

With the new universal adapter, OBO expands the fastening options for WDK cable duct. The adapter was designed specifically for fastening plastic ducts to walls using a setting tool, without damaging the duct.
During setting, the adapter reliably absorbs the generated energy and protects the duct from cracks, deformation or visible damage. The result is a safe, clean and permanently stable fastening – plus fast mounting.
