New chequer plate cover for cable tray fittings

With new chequer plate covers for cable tray fittings, OBO Bettermann is expanding its range for the automotive industry. The new covers ensure that not only the walkable cable trays from the  BKRS-Systems,  but also bends and branch pieces are reliably protected against dust and dirt. At the same time, they create a cohesive, visually consistent system.

The chequer plate covers are available for 45° and 90° bends as well as add-on tees, and are compatible with the standard cable tray fittings from OBO.

 Proven mounting, cohesive solution

The solution is mounted in line with the familiar BKRS principle: The covers for 45° and 90° bends are fastened securely using pre-mounted turn buckles. The covers for add-on tees are placed under the section cover and do not require any additional fastening. The new chequer plate covers are the perfect functional and visual complement to the BKRS system, delivering a closed overall solution for demanding industrial applications.

Please note: The fittings themselves are not strictly designed as walkable elements. Accessibility is only possible, depending on the load requirements, if the bases are equipped accordingly with barrier strips or supports.
