Sustainability without compromise: redesigned film

To package many individual OBO products, we use different flat films, which we process into plastic bags, depending on the product size and weight. But not all films are the same, which is why we were on the lookout for more sustainable alternative materials for quite some time.

After numerous tests, we opted for a flat film made of 100% regranulate, which features the same positive properties as the previous film and the same thickness of 80 my.

Based on the previous consumption quantities, we can save about 16 tonnes of carbon emissions a year at the Bugyi location by using the new film.
