PYROPLUG® MagicBox
Modular system for safe and simple fire insulation
In case of fire it is important to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. An effective solution: The PYROPLUG® MagicBox by OBO. It can be used just as reliably in the raw construction phase or later during subsequent installations and enables a simple and flexible insulation of cables and pipes in a manner conformant with the approval.

The PYROPLUG® MagicBox by OBO contains a robust, practical and error-tolerant fire protection inlay made of foam, which expands during a fire without any significant pressure development.
The MagicBox is available as a four- or three-sided version. The four-sided version consists of two housing halves, that can simply be clicked together thanks to the releasable Magic connection. This version can be used as an insulation system in walls and ceilings. The three-sided version consists of a stainless-steel housing and can be inserted in various ways: in walls, on raw floors, beneath system floors and as insulation of rising section in ceilings.
Both MagicBox versions are mounted quickly and simply: The stainless-steel housing is inserted in the component opening and is mortared in. Side straps secure the correct position of the MagicBox. The cavities of the installed items are closed with the PYROSIT® NG fire protection foam.
Don’t let things heat up
The modular structure of the PYROPLUG® MagicBox allows installation engineers to react individually to different mounting situations and installation environments. Their interior can be fully assigned with installations. The creation of cable support systems with widths of up to 600 mm is also possible without problems.
Inlay blocks of foam can be used for larger cavities or for use as reserve insulation. The graphite strips contained in the scope of delivery are attached to the Magic Box at the width of the component, where they foam up if there is a fire, reliably closing the gap created around the box.
With the fire resistance class EI 90, the MagicBox offers a reliable and safe solution for a great variety of applications.
