Discover the whole world of OBO – digitally or at the fair

Due to the sector’s leading international trade fair being postponed several times because of the pandemic, we are now particularly pleased to be able to welcome our customers and partners to our OBO stand again – either digitally or at the fair. For all those who won’t be able to attend Light + Building in person, we have come up with something very special with our own OBO trade fair platform. And for those attending in person, our stand at the fair in Frankfurt, in Hall 12.1, stand D90/E90/E91, is sure to impress.

The OBO stand

Under the motto “Building Connections”, visitors to the OBO stand can expect a lot. Divided into our three application areas of “Industrial installations”, “Building installations” and “Safety and protection installations”, our stand is more extensive than ever before. On an area of more than 1,000 square metres, we will be presenting product innovations and system solutions for sustainable industries such as photovoltaics and electromobility.

Our digital innovations will also be on display. Digitalisation has arrived in the electrical industry, and OBO responded to this development very early on by offering various digital tools. The common goals here are saving time and making work easier for planners, electrical engineers and tradespeople. Come and find out for yourself at our stand, with the OBO Construct planning software or BIM@OBO, the new digital standard for planning electrical installations.

A varied supporting programme with virtual reality applications, competitions and expert discussions will round off our trade fair presence. Every day on our stage directly at the OBO stand, visitors can look forward to exciting expert interviews covering a wide range of subjects from all around the world of OBO. The topics range from digital tools to sustainability and global reference projects, through to success stories form our international subsidiaries. The themes even offer a glimpse into the vision and the mission of OBO.

Take part at the trade fair – no matter where you happen to be

With our own digital trade fair platform, OBO is offering anyone interested in experiencing the trade fair the option to attend digitally, regardless of where they are. The platform is aimed primarily at all those who won’t be able to visit the fair in person, which illustrates how helpful the digital service and support offering from OBO is. Just like attendees of the fair in Frankfurt, digital visitors can get an overview of all the product highlights and innovations from the OBO portfolio and also experience them using 3D models.

Since a successful trade fair naturally also includes a colourful supporting programme, visitors to the OBO trade fair platform can even attend the stage presentations of our experts digitally. Using so-called contact tabs, we are also providing the opportunity for personal discussions via the platform, as our support team can be contacted to ask for advice and to exchange ideas.
