Warranty information for specialist distributors.During production, our products are repeatedly checked for proper function. Should our equipment fail to function properly in spite of our extensive quality control, please note the following points:
- Our overvoltage protection products are warranted for a period of five years.
- The warranty period begins with the date of purchase from the specialist distributor. Warranty claims must be accompanied by the distributor's invoice. We accept no liability for transport damage or losses.
- A claim under warranty requires that the complete equipment be returned to us in the original packaging if possible.
- During the warranty period any deficiency or damage to OBO?s product will be repaired or replaced where that deficiency or damage is attributable to defective material or workmanship. Any claim under warranty neither extends nor restarts the warranty period for warranted equipment. Replaced parts become our property. No further claims can be accepted.
- Warranty does not cover damage and losses caused by improper handling or installation, non-compliance with regulations, or unauthorised disassembly.
- After expiry of the warranty period our specialists offer a check and repair service. These repairs are chargeable to your account.
