Reducing sealing rings If the preinstalled sealing ring in standard glands is insufficient, then it is a job for OBO’s reducing sealing rings. They can replace the standard sealing rings, thus allowing a reduction in the tensioning area. Reducing sealing rings have slightly thicker walls, meaning that they can be pushed together to create a smaller diameter.

Screw plugs OBO screw plugs ensure safe closure of cap nut cable glands. The plugs are inserted in the cap of the gland, instead of a cable, closing it. Should an additional cable be required at a later date, then the screw plug need simply be replaced with a cable.
