Underfloor installation systems for Middle East

OBO has many different underfloor solutions to meet the different installation regulations and techniques around the world. For example, in the Middle and Far East it is another standard which applies, and whose regulations require different installation solutions to those in Germany, even in the underfloor areas. OBO has many kinds of systems for screedcovered and screed-flush installation and for cable routing underneath raised floors. The spatial separation of the duct systems is required to carry the different current types. The solution: special elements within the OBO duct systems ensure that this separation exists everywhere, even if there are branches. In addition, OBO can also implement special solutions in good time (see text below).

Solutions for false ceilings

The OBO developers also looked at local market requirements during the development of the UK500 underfloor box: in Finland solutions are required for device installations above false ceilings. In Scandinavia, these cavities are used for cable routing. Thus, the OBO experts developed an installation unit for 18 Modul 45 installation devices in the form of a height-adjustable cassette, in order to permit flushfloor mounting. The use of smaller cassettes required a special mounting lid, which is placed above the cable routing. Height-adjustment screws in the mounting lids allow adjustment of the cassettes to the exact height of the floor covering.
