Shoot and hit!
Rapid installation by “shooting”
The new installation method for cable trunking, clips and rails may remind you of the annual fair: take aim, shoot and hit. Stud drivers and nail guns facilitate this form of fastening to concrete, stone, plaster, wood or steel. Just “shoot on” the installation products and you‘re done! Compared to the conventional type of installation, this new method of fastening is considerably faster, easier and, above all, more costeffective. For installations on concrete, you used to have to drill a hole, use anchors and then fasten the trunking or the clip with screws. Steel also had to be drilled and tapped.
As an alternative, support clamps could also be used for fastening to the flange. This time-consuming work has come to an end thanks to the “quick shooting method”. Furthermore, the new identification system for OBO Bettermann clips makes “shooting” even easier. So that the installation technician can quickly identify the right installation device to fasten the clips, the products from OBO are marked with one or both of two symbols in the new OBO catalogue.
These „icons“ stand for installation either with a nail gun or with a stud driver. All you need to do now is clear the trajectory!
