Plastic-coated cable carrier system – functional and aesthetic

OBO BETTERMANN is offering new coating options for cable carrier systems: as well as the standard strip and hot-dip galvanising coating processes, and other zinc-coating methods, cables can now also be coated with plastic in a RAL colour. The plastic coating fulfils several purposes at the same time. First, it lends the epoxy-polyester covering applied to the surface during the powder-coating process an extremely high mechanical durability and chemical resistance. Second, thanks to their decorative features, plastic-coated cable carrier systems are being increasingly used wherever the electrical installation remains visible.
