The HW-MW series is available as a device installation variant in the sizes 35 and 47 mm, and as a cavity wall box and connection socket with 61 mm depth for optional wiring behind the mounted device installation unit.

Windproof, thanks to 2K
With the HW-MW series, there is no need to break open the pre-injected openings: all the insertion openings have a pushthrough membrane with 2K technology – this plastic component surrounds cables exactly, guaranteeing windproof installations. This ensures that there is no interference from air circulation in the hollow wall sockets and devices. Pipes can also be inserted quickly and simply in the housing: for installation purposes, a special (soft) component need simply be opened with a pointed object.

Strain relief for cable entry
The external plastic component has protruding strain relief teeth. These teeth keep the cable tightly in the opening. The second component ensures windproof closing of the housing.
