Mounting boxes for modular systems and FLF installations

New mounting boxes with sizes GB2 and GB3 are now available for direct installation of Modul 45 and Swiss FLF devices. The developers at OBO Bettermann have reacted to requests to expand the product range into these areas.

Mounting support for Modul 45 with removable base The base element without protective housing allows installation of the data technology connection modules, for which the connection cables are inserted from below. Power socket installations require the protective housing underneath. This fulfils the VDE requirements regarding touch protection completely. The length division of the protective housing on the MT3/45 mounting support divides it into one-third/two-thirds and, on the MT4/45 mounting support, into half-half or one-quarter/three-quarters.

Mounting support for Swiss FLF devices Different regions, different dimensions: the Swiss FLF devices do not match the Modul 45 technology and the mounting ring systems commonly used in Germany. OBO Bettermann has developed two special mounting boxes for the Swiss market. It is now possible to install six Swiss FLF devices in the adapted GB2, and nine in the GB3. Of course, the OBO engineers have included the advantages of the removable protective housing in the construction of these variants. For example, cables can be routed from below when installing data technology components, and the bend radii can be maintained.
