The non-crush complement to the OBO Bettermann system

Cable support system installation is becoming increasingly complex and challenging.

A challenge that OBO Bettermann likes to square up to: with optimally matched, high-quality systems for all electrical installation applications. OBO is now rounding out its broad product range with an innovative “walkable cable duct system” for optimised media routing in the automotive industry and in plant construction all over the world.

The system comprises non-perforated cable ducts with a material thickness of 1.5 mm. The system components’ covers are non-crush and non-slip, and are reinforced with a corrugated aluminium plate. They are highly suitable for use in automated manufacturing plants.

The walkable cable ducts are available in system heights of 60 and 110 mm as well as in widths of 100 to 600 mm. As well as the 90° fitting and mounted junction piece, a host of system accessories including installation profiles, spacer clamps and profile rails are available in the quality expected from OBO. These include retainers for separating different current circuits, as well as cables and conductors.

The various strip and hot-dip galvanised surface coatings permit the use of walkable cable duct systems in dry atmospheres, damp rooms and also outdoors.
