Normally, cable routing with integrated function maintenance is not a problem. Routing systems such as cable trays, single and multiple clamps and vertical ladders form an allround mounting package. But there are exceptions: for example in vertical routing. According to DIN 4102 Part 12, the necessary strain relief is required for continuous cable routing. For reasons of space, the easy solution – swivelling the cables as a support – cannot be implemented in rising shafts. OBO has tackled this challenge and developed the ZSE90 strain relief.

The ZSE90 means that the electrician can be sure of being safe: OBO supplies the product not just with all the required materials (U-shaped housing made of calcium silicate, mounting kit, mineral fibre plates, fire protection compound), but also with a surveyor’s report of the “Institut für Baustoffe, Massivbau und Brandschutz Braunschweig (IBMB)”, which confirms the system as a complement to the standard support constructions for vertical routing for function maintenance, in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 12.
