Cable glands with long connection thread
The V-TEC VM product range from OBO offers a host of benefits: the cable glands quickly and conveniently provide strain relief and sealability at junction boxes. Now there is the long connection gland – another special product feature.
This innovative design is opening up new fields of application in boxes and housing – without the customer having to provide a thread. The V-TEC VM L is inserted through the opening and tightened on the inside of the housing with a locknut.
All cable glands feature a moulded sealing lip on the connection thread. This guarantees the best possible seal on uneven surfaces. Thanks to this integrated sealing lip and the special OBO lamella technology, the IP 68 protection rating is achieved at 5 bar for 1 h. Strain relief and sealability are tested to DIN EN 50262.
The V-TEC VM L comes in the three established colours of silver grey, light grey and black. They are best suited to identifying and distinguishing between various functions. With two different connection thread lengths, normal and long, the V-TEC VM is available in eight
metric sizes of M12 to M63, and can therefore be used anywhere. The OBO V-TEC range is made from high-quality, halogen-free polyamide.
