Aquasit

OBO Aquasit – safe, clean and quick

Aquasit cold casting compound is the solution for electrical installations in particularly wet environments. Whether you are making connections in the garden, on waterside promenades, in car washes or in sumps – you will have junction boxes protected against moisture in minutes using Aquasit.

Installing cables above suspended ceilings using the OBO Grip

The OBO Grip makes laying cables behind suspended ceilings and partition walls quicker and easier then ever before. Simply fix the cable holder in place using a knock-in anchor, a screw or a gas-pressure nail gun. Pull off the pressure clip and slot it onto the cable holder. The OBO Grip can then be opened easily without any tools, the wiring laid in, and the clip closed again.

EMC cable gland – keeping a tight hold

The OBO EMC cable gland makes for a quick and easy contact between the braided shield and the gland itself. Its metric connection thread complies with IEC 423. This gland offers strain relief, protection against twisting, and maximum tightness across the whole range of voltages (IP68).

New members in the T family

The professional’s dream come true: one of Europe’s widest ranges of cable junction boxes, the OBO T series, is now available in four new versions. Firstly, the complete series can now be supplied with integrated terminal strips and special strain relief openings. Secondly, the T 100 model has been extended. The T 100 MSD junction box now offers integrated Schuko sockets, and the T 100 WB model comes with suitably adapted Wieland sockets of type GSt 18-i13.

Profile rails made from VA

The type 2060, 2063 and 1268 profile rails are now available in stainless steel (V2A), and in perforated and non-perforated versions. The 2060 profile rail, with 11 mm slot widths, completes the stainless steel profile rail segment. The 1268 profile rail also meets the requirements of DIN 4102, and can therefore be used in standard-compliant support structures for functional maintenance.

MS 41 rail and assembly system for 41 x 21 and 41 x 41 mm profile rails

Connection plates, fastening clamps and installation profiles – all of these allow profile rails to be connected together, not only lengthways but also in cross-over or 90-degree configurations. The MS 41 rail and assembly system, in conjunction with the 41 x 21 and 41 x 41 mm profile rails, allows a multitude of constructions to be put together.

Bigger pipe range

OBO’s piping systems have just grown, and they now include pipes made from stainless steel as well as powder-coated black Stapa pipes. These new pipes are suitable for installation using single or dual lobe fastening clips on any surface, or to walls using screw-in spacer clips. They offer perfect protection against moisture, physical shock and vibration for all cables and lines.

Quick-wire support system

Cable support systems, ventilation pipes and many more things besides can now be suspended easily, at any height and without tools, using the Quick-wire system from OBO. A range of pre-prepared steel suspension wires with type 944 wire locks provide a wide range of attachments in the shortest possible time.

VA clamp clips – a new generation made from stainless steel

To go with its new stainless steel profile rails, OBO has now added a new generation of V2A stainless steel clamp clips to its range. The clip, the screw and the pressure cup are all made from stainless steel, and therefore offer a high level of protection against corrosion, even in aggressive atmospheres. Used singly or doubly, these accessories allow you to attach any C-profile rail with slot widths of 16 to 17 millimetres.
