Additions for Modul 45
A growing range

The range of applications for Modul 45 devices is growing continuously. OBO is meeting the growing demand for practical components by introducing a range of new solutions and products. Countless programme additions simplify the work of the installation engineer with the Modul 45 systems.

Even faster mounting: sockets with plug connections
In future, OBO will be offering two new double variants: the SKSD/S and SKSD/U. The SKSD/S socket has plug connections on the front, and is thus particularly suitable for applications in Rapid 45 device installation ducts. Using a GST18 connector or a socket adapter, standardised connection and forwarding of the power supply is possible using VL extension cables. The VBSKS/S plug connector also allows the arrangement of up to three SKSD/S sockets.

The SKSD/U socket was designed with the plug connections arranged downwards. The U gives it away: this socket was developed for underfloor cabling in raised floors. The socket, together with the ST SKS/U plug adapter, provides a direct connection option using VL extension cables.

• Efficient installation: considerably shorter mounting times through the lack of the standard permanent wiring (removal of insulation, strain relief, etc.)
• GST18 adapter: no subsequent damage through incorrect wiring
• Touch protection according to VDE for adapter use – no additional protective housing required
• Alternative use instead of pre-terminated mounted boxes

Accessories for wall installation
Now the installation engineer can also use Modul 45 devices for concealed and cavity wall applications. For this, OBO has expanded its range of accessories to provide single, double and triple underfloor boxes and support plates. Locking cover frames for the widths ½ module, 1 module, 1½ modules, 2 modules and 3 modules permit any combination of different Modul 45 components.
Another new OBO product is a support plate for installations in underfloor boxes with screw fastening. Cover frames for the widths ½ module and 1 module are available.

Also new ...
OBO has not forgotten switches in its expansion of its Modul 45 programme: a button with LED lighting and one-way and changeover switches with nameplates of ½ module width round off the series along with series and crossover switches of one module width. Also, there are new electronic devices with timer switches, roller blind timer switches, room thermostats, motion detectors and touch dimmers.
